Hello, this is Thomas Smith, CEO of Gado Images. I hope that you are well and staying safe.
As COVID-19 continues to spread worldwide, Gado Images is actively working to maintain our operations, and to continue our important work of documenting this constantly unfolding crisis. We also remain committed to supporting our staff and contributors through this difficult period.
As members of the media, the public relies on us to provide up-to-the-minute information, as do public agencies and others communicating vital public health updates about the virus’ impact.
We believe that timely, powerful imagery is essential to this process. In many jurisdictions, media organizations like ours are deemed “essential”, giving us the rare privilege of continuing to operate when many other businesses have had to shut down. This puts us in a unique position to not only inform the public, but also provide continuing work and revenue for our contributors.
