If I asked DALL-E to generate photos of a writer, and it showed a caricature of a guy hunched over a computer cackling in a dark room while pounding on the keys, I'd say "Haha, you got me, DALL-E, very funny!"
But when DALL-E mimics the same kinds of propaganda that have been used for millenia to dehumanize and justify harm to a population, that's not funny at all.
