Thanks, and that's true that each person can only bring their own perspective. It's interesting to hear that you're in Europe (maybe I missed that in your piece?), because I think that changes the dynamics a lot vs. the United States in terms of employment. At a very basic level, my European friends get months to years of fully paid maternity and paternity leave, which is almost non-existent here.
Agree with your final conclusion, too. You did a great job arguing it on moral grounds. I guess I'm a little more cynical and see it more along the pragmatic lines of owning what you create and not risking that.
