Yes, please do create your own version for your location! I find that travel is great because nearly every keyword is a long-tail keyword. If you review a local restaurant, you're probably one of only a tiny handful of bloggers who will write about that restaurant. But for popular local places, you can easily see hundreds of searches/clicks per month. One of my top articles last month was "Shake Shack to Open Soon in Walnut Creek", with 3,300 visits!
